The High Street boardroom is equipped with a wireless projection system. This enables you to easily display your laptop’s screen on the overhead projector.

Instructions for Windows 11
- Open the Control Centre. This can be found by clicking the Wi-Fi, battery, or volume icons at the bottom-right of the screen. You will see the following menu.
- You will need to add the Cast option to this menu. To do this, click the pencil icon, then + Add, and finally Cast. Click Done once you're finished. (N.B. If you have already added the Cast option, you can skip this step.)
- Now you will have a Cast button in your control centre. Select this, and you'll see the Cast menu open up. (N.B. You can also quickly get to this menu by pressing the Windows Key + K)
Within this menu, you'll see an option for CKC_Boardroom. Select this to connect to the boardroom projector. It will take a moment, and your screen may flicker during this time. - If you don't yet see your laptop screen on the projector, please make sure you've selected HDMI-2/MHL on the projector. To do this, use the Source button on the remote control.
- If you want to change how your screen displays on the projector, click ‘Change Projection Mode’ in the Connect menu, or alternatively press the Windows Key + P keys on your keyboard. Duplicate will simply mirror your laptop’s display, while Extend will show two separate displays.
- To disconnect, you can click Disconnect on the bar at the top of the screen, or go back into the Connect menu and disconnect from there.

- Open the Action Centre. It can be found at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, represented by a speech balloon icon.
- Click Expand, and then find and click the Connect tile.
- Select CKC_Boardroom. It may take a minute for the device to successfully pair with your laptop.
- If you want to change how your screen displays on the projector, click ‘Change Projection Settings’ in the Connect menu, or alternatively press the Win + P keys on your keyboard. We have a separate guide covering this.
- You should now be able to see your laptop's display on the projector.
Instructions for Android phones
Please note that instructions vary per device, but the menus and wording should be similar and will help get you going in any case.
- Ensure you're connected to the C+K Careers Wi-Fi network.
- Open your phone's Settings app, and select Connected Devices.
- Select Cast. The option for CKC_Boardroom should show up after a moment. Select this, and you'll see your phone screen mirrored on the projector.
