How to share Teams recordings in Microsoft Stream

If you've recorded a Teams meeting, the final video will be uploaded to Office 365's video sharing service, called Stream.

This will allow you to watch your recording back any time you like, as well as share it with others.

To access Stream, you can go to Office.com and, under All Apps, click Stream.

It can also be accessed from the Waffle (the 3x3 grid of dots at the top-left of the screen).

Your recordings can be found from the top bar, under My Content -> Videos. This will list all the videos you have created yourself.

To share a video with someone else, first click the three dots icon beneath the video, then Update Video Details.

From here, you should see a Permissions section in the centre of the screen. Using this, you can either give permission to specific people within the company, or simply make it public and allow everyone to see it.

Marking someone as an 'owner' of the video means they will be able to edit video details just as you can - otherwise, they will only be able to view it.

Finally, you can use the Share button to send the link itself. Permission must be given before sharing, otherwise the person you're sharing with won't be able to see the video.

Go back, then click Share beneath the video. From here, you can either copy the link to the video, which can be pasted anywhere; alternatively, you can send an email directly from Stream.
